    Default PROJECT RUNWAY SEASON 7

So, did everyone watch Project Runway last night: The Campbell's Challenge? Kind of reminds me of "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" in red shiny fabric!

Short, Tight & Shiny=Tacky!" Nina Garcia's famous quote from past season is like the first rule they should teach designers!

Wow, what a disaster. First of all, it was really hindering to provide the designers with fabric stamped Campbell's all over it! I would have loved to see what they would have done if they hadn't had to use it! Where was the creativity ala newspaper challenges of the past? I was very disappointed by the lack of creativity!

Amy Sarabi's dress was just ho-hum. Nothing new or really different here. It probably looked the least Campbell-ish though.... I think Amy is talented but it just wasn't exciting.

I actually liked Maya's dress in the Top 3 best because it was more unique...although I believe we saw Sandra Bullock wear something similar earlier this year..

Mila's dress with the stars was somewhere in that area of "I can't believe they think that looks good" and intriguing. I think it would have been better without that grandma calico fabric provided by Campbells! It kind of hurts to look at it! I wasn't a fan of her "winning look" last week though. I think the judges must like her.

Poor Jesse! He took Tim's advice that he needed the jacket. He'd have been better off without it!

Hideousness was ample! The judges really lowered their standards on this one. In my opinion Anna's dress was the worst of the bottom three, but Jesus broke Rule #1 and he's been in the bottom before.....so, bye, bye!

I love Project Runway!! I agree, there wasn't a dress that I was blown away by. Amy's dress was the least Campbell-themed, so I can't believe the judges didn't hate that fact. If I had to pick a winner, I would have went with Maya. I liked the half-heart concept and the way she used the Campbell brand on the clutch.

    I am loving Project Runway!!

I really enjoyed the potato sack challenge a couple of weeks ago, I didn't really didn't like Mila's winning outfit last week....

There was not a dress for this challenge that I liked at all, the Campbell's fabric they had to use was awful, the only thing it looked good on was the clutch.

I thought it was tacky when Jesse said we had to work with her body or something like that right in front of the woman he worked with

I did love the spunk of the ladies who were telling their heart situations, they were inspiring women indeed

I can't wait til next week!!

I usually love Project Runway but I was really dissapointed with that last episode. So far I haven't been awed.

I am an avid fan of Project runway too!

I too thought Maya's dress was the best pic of the lot. While Jesus' outfit was tacky, it was not as awful as a couple of others. Jesse deserved to be at the bottom IMO.

I was also surprised at the judge's winner pick of Mila's dress last week. The jacket looked like it came out of Batman's closet. Good halloween costume, not so much for fashion

^ I tried watching that show, but I couldn't get into it. I've seen a few episodes though and I usually watch the finale.

I watch both Project Runway and Models of the Runway .This season's Project Runway is not a good as past seasons in my opinion. I just do not see the talent that was there in other seasons.I like Mila and Amy the best this season . Models is a straight up cat fight waiting to happen.LOL I love that the designers are switching it up every week and not staying with the same girls . I was glad to Sophia go she was kind of a kill joy and I cannot stand Alexis!!!! I am in love w/ Michael Kors b/c of this show.I love to watch his facial expressions when he sees something hideous .Priceless.His remarks can be cut throat as well ....LOVE IT !!!!

Heidi Klum Challenge was interesting. How short were some of those outfits? WOW! It's so sad when these designers are so thrilled with their looks coming down the runway and they are in reality terrible!

Ben's neon yellow, blue and burgendy vinyl dress was hideous! I can't believe the positive reviews...
Anna's vest seemed like a home ec project. The baggy blah, top with little shorts is just a big yawn.
Jeanean's dress is just kind of odd a semi-bridal dress.
Mila finally was in the bottom three. So not a fan of her athletic inspired color block style.
Emilio's red dress was hot without the shoulder straps! But, boy it was also short!
Anthony's turquoise dress is so cute and modern. Reminds me of all of the draping going on with Marchesa right now. Glad he was the winner!

So, I haven't watched the kid episode yet, but wouldn't it be awful to eliminated because of that challenge!

this, for sure. it's just meh this season. maybe its just me, but i can't get into it like i have every other season. i do love having nina and kors back full time again. it's funny that i like havng kors back because i used to love to hate him in the past. he would make me so mad that i wouldn't buy stuff that he designed. i just thought he was so mean (espeically because he wears a variation of the same outfit every week). i disliked him so much that even if i loved a dress, jacket, bag, etc, when i saw the label said 'micheal kors', i would put it back! he has definitely grown on me now.
    hmmmm... maybe something RED next

OK. So I understand why someone could get eliminated on the kid challenge and deserve it. Although Jeanene's kid dress looked like the most comfortable and wearable...it is a design show! They are looking for big design. Way to go Jesse! Redemption. Seth! WOW! That ladie's jacket was phenomenal! What in the world was Amy thinking? OMG- had to be one of the most hideous pieces in PR history!

Is it me or is Tim Gunn giving praise on garments that seem to end up on the bottom? He was praising the yellow dress! Yikes!

Too bad for jeanene... she was from Oregon too

I really like Jesse's designs for the kid and the model mom, I figured it would be between him and Seth...

You could tell Seth had it in the bag, he was so confident and he knew what he was going to do the minute he heard about the challenge and this was something he could really impress with.
That mom and daughter outfit was great and made me wish I had a little girl.

I liked Anthony's sweet outfits too, I think he has gotten better since the first few shows.
He cracked me up when the little girls were talking to him and he asked " do you all an off switch?" he he

I Loved MK's line about the model in the toilet paper
