Why Oh Why wasn't Mila shown the door Thursday, that was a disaster and a half!!
The poor model could not even walk down the runway, it was awful...
I think Anthony should have stayed and Mila gone home, yes he is like a one trick pony, but his dress was better than hers.

I think Seth A is incredible at the sewing machine, wow, the jackets he makes and pants all look so perfectly tailored, but the pattern was a little crazy...
And for the life of me, I cannot figure out why Emilio won!! especially after MK said Maya's pattern was his favorite of them all? and they all were shaking heads in agreement.

I can't wait for next week, my DVR didn't get the ending what celebrity they would be designing for, can someone tell me, all I got was this person is very opinionated and strong and my DVR cut if off
    Did they say who??

OMG, jeanie! I could not agree with you more! Mila is a DISASTER. I hate her. She definitely should have been kicked off, and this wasn't the first time I've thought that. Anthony is wayyy better than her. He may stick to the same silhouette, but Mila sticks to the same black and white all the time! That fabric she designed look like a box of Crayolas!

As far as Emilio's dress winning, I couldn't believe it either! That pattern he designed for his fabric was a mess. I know graffiti is in, but it was so unoriginal. It probably took him about 30 seconds to design. I thought the judges were going to rip him apart. I didn't mind Jonathan's work, but obviously the judges did. I think MK was too hard on him.

I thought Mya or Seth Aaron definitely deserved the win. I will be very surprised if I don't see SA at Bryant Park. He is amazing.

As far as the celebrity they're designing for next week, they didn't tell us, so you didn't miss it! It's a surprise until next Thursday night!

Thanks so much Cassandra, I'm glad it is a surprise, I thought I missed out on something and it was driving me crazy....
I can't wait to see who it is now.

I agree with you about SA, he designs so well!!
he was on our local Morning show here in Portland as he just lives across the river in Vancouver Washington, about 15min away.
They interviewed him and of course he said he could not say anything other than what a great time he had on the show and you just have to watch to see what happens..
His wife and kids were on there too, saying how proud they were of his dad, I felt bad as I stereo typed him when I first saw him, thought for sure he was an Emo-punk type gay designer, I guess I should never judge a book by it's cover ..
His family was just beautiful, the kids looked a little embarrassed on the show.

I think Maya still has a chance, she is very creative, Jay hasn't been too good lately, I loved his garbage bag design a few weeks ago, wow that belt he made was TDF, it looked like leather!!

Oh Yea I totally for got about Jonathan!!
his Design that he one for the element air was so cool, he got the perfect model for it too, her skin color was almost opalescent next to his fabric, that was great...

I felt bad for him when MK called his print a soiled tablecloth, but at least he stuck up for himself, I think Heidi looked a little shocked that he disagreed with MK

Yeah, Heidi was surprised that anyone would talk back to precious orange-MK! Even Nina was hard on Jonathan's pattern saying it looked "dirty". It may not have been one of the best designs, but I thought they were too mean and hard on him. Joking when he put the leather jacket back on his model saying that he was helping his wife with her straight jacket! But they kind of almost complimented Mila's disaster pre-school dress! UGH! I just hate her lol. If she makes it to Bryant Park, I'm going to lose it!

So I did not agree with thejudges about Jonathan. I actually thought that his print, while subtle, was somewhat sophisticated. Maybe it just showed well on TV. I am a fabric person so that surprised me that they like the juvenile pattern of emilio over that. Tim Gunn got that one wrong! If Jonathan has just done an asymetrical front opening, the jacket was pretty cool! Doing it in the back was just too awkward.

JUDGES Please eliminate Mila! She should be gone and Amy in her place.... With this show, I had a hard time telling which designer did what because it was all color blocking of a sort. I can't imagine what we are going to see for Bryant Park. Someone needs to shine!

I really think Seth Aaron is going to win it all. The judges love him and his work is impeccable. He also stays very true to himself, more so than anyone else this season. I don't see him having any trouble creating a fabulous collection for Bryant Park. I would love to wear some of the things he designs, especially those all-black ensembles.

I too think Seth Aaron is the most talented of the lot and deserves to win. I all of the jackets he has made so far!
Of the ones left, Seth, Jay and Maya probably should make it to Bryant Park.

This finale just didn't blow me away. Everyone was much more polished as a group than in the past, but I just wasn't surprised. There aren't many women who are stick straight and can wear Mila's clothing. It's about the same as we have seen from her. I'm not sure there is anything in her collection that I could wear AND look good in it - except maybe the t-shirt. That was cool, but didn't Irina do t-shirts last season? Seth Aaron had some wild pieces but I really can't stand buffalo plaid - dates the pieces too easily. Emilio had alot of appeal to me because I love that beautiful pop of blue and red right now. The GOWN was the single best piece of the entire group. He just needed more of that. There was even something intriguing about his print when doen in that goddess dress style. I did think the olive green plaid a bit oddly agains the blue and red. That blue coat needs to be mine. Flattering and beautiful! Neither Seth Aaron or Mila had a showstopper like that. A cocktail dress just doesn't get it.

That said, they all probably have the potential as designers. I'm a bit disapointed that Seth Aaron won, I liked Emilio best.

It was clear the whole season, they were trying to guide the designers to have more rock n roll edge. Maybe that is why it didn't resonate with me as well.
