Thread: Real Housewives of New York City!!

Me too I'm so excited!!! I watched a bunch of old ones yesterday to get all psyched up. I love Jill and Bethenny the best. There is a new housewife I think, which one left?

I love Real Housewives of the O.C., I liked a few of the girls from NYC, I like Jill and Bethany. I HATE Alex, she's just so weird and Ramona makes me want to gouge my ears out with spoons.

But yeah, I have the DVR set to record. Bad Girls Club is tonight too. Bad Girls Club is my guilty addiction.

I loved both the OC real housewives and the New York one.

Alex and her husband were pretentious freaks and Ramona looked like she was high on some amphetamine constantly. Either that or she had a bad brow lift or blephorplasty.

I like Jill and Bethany best too.

I was watching yesterday the one w/ Ramona taking her daughter Avery to the audition and I was struck that Avery has the same facial expressions as her mom, poor thing. Ramona makes me feel nutty too, she's just so out there, but I do think she's a good mom from what I've seen of the show. She is just so hyper and awkward in her graces that I feel dizzy watching her lol. When she got huffy during the dinner party that Alex's husband showed up to and starts in on how it's a girl's night out and she's leaving for a real girls night out her body made all these Elaine strange dance moves, it hurts my eyes.

Alex and her dh are so freaking pretentious, I love when it gets called out in the reunion. I love how Bethenny called it a pissing contest when they were Luann and Alex were speaking French in the restaurant, I just love Bethenny and Jill. The only time I wasn't on the same page w/ Jill was when she walked out of the fashion show bec. she was sitting behind Loonoma. That was a little immature of her, but otherwise she's so funny and normal seeming.

Did you ever think that the soundbites from the intro are kind of unflattering and mocking towards them. Alex says something that makes sound like a social climber, LuAnn says how she doesn't feel guilty for being privilidged(sp), Bethenny is the only one that sounds ok saying NY is her playground, Jill says she runs w/ a fabulous crowd which makes her seem kind of caught up in how great it is to be a socialite, Ramona says how her making her own money is an aphrodesiac which is just strange that she turns herself on, lol. I feel like the show mocks them often times, especially when they have Rosie the housekeeper talking about how self absorbed LuAnn is and that she basically is their mom, not in so many words obviously but it's so angled that way. It's like they make the show in such a way so that we see this side of them. And that's why I love it lol!

I'm not a fan of any of the OC housewives but the one who I think is the most normal would probably be Tamra.

I watch the OC show for the bags and the Gretchen drama. I detest the way they dress w/ their boobs out and all the sparkle, and the bright colors they wear, the overly bleached and brassy hair w/ way too much eye makeup, it's like a dizzying television test pattern but I can't resist the potential for drama that I'm sucked in.
