They're aren't any NICE salons near-by that I know of. The nail salon I went to was pretty nice...just not THAT nice lol!

Zomb - You sure do know a lot about this, lol! ok, so what is a base coat? is it like a clear coat that goes on first or something? and is there any specia brand i should get for the color?

i didn't know the drills were bad. i use to have that done but then i stopped. i like natural nails better. so mine are real and they look great so far!!!

oh, and ZG, if I was in the area, I'd definitely go to you to have my nails done! haha, that would be fun, LOL!

Just look for Nailtek, OPI, CHI, Sparitual, Essie base coats or you can try some at your local Sally Beauty Supply store.

They don't sell professional products like OPI and Nailtek but they do carry a lot of decent products.

Hey Jess Sally Hansen has a nice nail repair base. I can't remember the name but it is a opaque blue bottle, I got it from target. I used to have acrylics FOREVER, but it turns out making jewelry and acrylics REALLY don't mix, you either catch them on fire or file them away while filing metal,lol. But I used that and it really helped.
