Hello guys, just want to know what do you think about Mineral Make Up?
I've been hooked up with this kind as it's just looks so natural and it's really nice on your skin. Hope we could share your experience and learn from each other. Post away!!! |

yes that's true BE works wonders on skin and really looks natural on you.
I love the bisque it can be a concealer for dark spots, under eye and at the same time my setting powder. ![]() Butterfly, its true i dont think I could come back to regular make up because of the good performance of Mineral Make Up. Has anybody tried other MMU brands? ![]() |

I HAD the Bare Minerals brand, but I returned it. It was too dark for me - and I had the lightest you could get, lol! I liked it though

JessLR, that's good atleast you're lucky you could exchange it. Here in HK, you can't unless you haven't open the pot.
That's why I'm a little bit careful on buying BE here. So I always ask the MA to test it on me first before i buy the product. to know if the shade really suits me.![]() |

I use bare escentuals and it is great. I've used a few brands but like thud the best. But I think I need a different color its too beige and my skin is more tan. So once they open the new ulta down the street I have to go get some.

I'm using the starter kit which has medium and medium beige in it. I think I need medium tan or olive. I love the warmth bronzer. And I normally use bronzer or peach tones for blush but the glee all over face color actually works nicely. Ugavent tried the eyeshadows though right now I'm in love with chanel's.

This topic is a bit old, but I thought I'd say a bit on mineral foundations.
I have used both Bare Escentuals and Everyday Minerals. I like EM a lot more than BE because in BE I was between colors of foundation while and EM they have SO SO SO many foundation colors to choose from, making it a lot more likely to find a match without having to mix your own. EM also currently does a free sample kit thing where all you have to do is pay $3.50ish for shipping and they give you samples of 3 foundations, 1 blush, and 1 concealer. I did that twice and found my foundation color. Extra bonus is that I found the sample sizes for the blushes to be HUGE since so little goes a long way so I have 2 blushes that will last me a looooooong time. Neither BE or EM irritated my skin (I have acne prone skin) but I've heard that BE can cause reactions in some people since it has Bismuth or something. They both look pretty natural and have a nice finish. Anyway, I hope that helps someone! =D |

I used BE until my face started breaking out like mad. It was too bad too because I liked the coverage.

^Ah, I've been breaking out a lot, and I've been using BE for a few months. I don't generally break out as much as I am right now. Good thing I'm almost out.. I liked it at first, but I guess it's too harsh for me, too. It was also all a bit dark for me...the lightest shade of foundation they carry. The light kit was way dark. I couldn't use warmth at all. I gave it away to a friend. I probably should've just returned it..
mitanari- Are they only charging for samples now? I see samples listed at $2.50. Boo! lol |
