I use their products for over a year
they have very nice make up removal oil!! i would say the best ever
it's very gentle and not dry. I also use their anti aging products, the whole set cost me over $300 i guess.. but sometimes they have promotion and cost a lot lesser..

I have never heard of this brand. To tell you the truth, I never really liked those types of parties. You feel pressured to buy something, even though you may not really want or need it. The worst of the worst, however, is when they make a bridal shower or something out of one of those parties. I was invited to a bridal shower just a few weeks ago and I refused to go. It was a pampered chef party disguised as a bridal shower and they expected you to go there and buy something for yourself AND the bride. One word: tacky. Okay, I'm done with my rant now. LOL! Sorry I can't be of more help Jennifer. I guess my only advise is not to buy anything unless you know it is something you would like. There isn't any info on the brand at all online?

Thank you so much for the link Z (...reading now )
BRS, wow that does sound super weird. I know what youre saying though about feeling the pressure to buy something. I'm already thinking.. so, do I have to buy something? Or will it be awkward? I guess I do have the "my debit card is expired" excuse. lol.

edit: my gosh. I didn't realize how many products they have. Wow..

Yeah, I know. I hate those kinds of parties anyway, but to have it be a bridal shower? I'm sorry, but I'd prefer to buy a gift for the bride on my own without people staring at me and expecting me to buy something...

Jennifer, I guess it depends on how the sales rep is. Sometimes they can be really pushy and make you feel awkward if you're not wishing to buy something. Other times they can be really laid back and you don't feel as guilty about coming up with some excuse not to buy anything.

I've been invited to those cooking party demonstrations at some of my moms friends houses, and we always feel pressured to buy stuff!
I had never heard of aloette before this.

Just be careful. I've been invited to a party like this with no clue what the product was. It turned out to be adult toys

So I went.. Rather than learning about a product, I felt like I was pushed into throwing my own event.

I mean she even brought out games with a "book your own party" theme.. just one example > she passed out cards to everyone in the room and was like -- there are 2 prizes. 1 is for "a prize" (lipgloss, woo ) and the other says "book a party". If you play the game you have to do what it says. (Okay, whatever...) Of course, more than half the people got "book a party". I laughed. And when she asked what date works best for me, I said (obviously). "I havent even tried the product yet!" rediculous.

I didn't buy anything.. I just grabbed a pamphlet as I ran out the door.

Talk about tacky. I usually hate these parties but I've only been to like two, one was a Mary Kay party and I won the Caribbean cruise
If love is the answer, what is the question?
