I was browsing Bal bags online again and was thinking that the Twiggy is really cute. And then I was also thinking that I like the First, too. Initially, I wanted to get the City and now I'm just so indecisive again . Though I was thinking that the First might be a bit too small. So what style do you guys like the best? I know many of you have a First or City, but does anyone own a Twiggy? And what's the price difference?

Out of the bags you have listed, I only have the city. It retails for $1195.00. I did not see it before I purchased it, and honestly, I was surprised at the size... I thought it would be larger. At this point, I need to point out I normally carry larger bags. I also purchased a part-time and I much prefer its size. I have a part time with giant hardware, which I believe was $1645.00. I don't know anything about the Twiggy, but I am on a wait list for a First... do I know it retails for $995.00. Hope some of this helps!
^^^thanks for the info! and which color are you wait listed for? are there waitlists now for certain colors beacuse i'm leaning towards either electric blue or magenta. hmmm...guess i'll have to call saks and see what they have available...
I was on a waitlist for a magenta day... and they actually just called today. I will have to see a picture before I order the bag though. As I have mentionned in other posts, every magenta bag I have seen from this season has been "veiny". The electric blue is the best bet, I believe. From what I have seen, every bag is stunning! I am also waiting for a bright yellow first. (I figured the bright, bright color would look better in a smaller bag).
I currently own a grass green city, which is too die for... and a jaune part-time.
All Balenciagas are just too big for me! I like to have little purses... I don't like big ones. Anything over 12 inches in length is just too big. I think I said this in another thread, but I really like the Mini Classique and the Mini Twiggy. Both would be the perfect size and both have been discontinued. Now I can't even find a used on for less that $800.

Right now my Favorite is the Twiggy but the City is a CLOSE 2nd! But I only really like broken in Twiggy's because they slouch just perfectly. I believe the Twiggy retails for $1095. It holds a lot!

QC - Yeah I really like the twiggy. I see most people with a City or First though. But the shape of the twiggy is nice. I'll never decide on what to get.....

I have magnta 2008 GSH giant part time and it is not veiny , this one which i have is the same like electric blue. I have bright balenciaga 2008 GGH giant work bag,i have post some of my bags in thread show of your bags so i think we have the same taste
I'm going to check that out now! I can't wait to see an "un-veiny" version! I've only seen a couple previous pics, and they weren't so good. Since I have to order B-Bags (because they are unavailable in my area), I really wanted to be sure the magenta was for me.
