I'm considering buying this Balenciaga bag on ebay..could you help me authenticate this purse?Obviously it's not anything official..any suggestion will be appreciated!Thankx!

So if it retails for $995 and she's asking $900, why buy it from her? Seriously. Is the $100 you'll save worth buying from an "all sales final" private party who offers none of the benefits of a store-bought purchase?

The longer you hang around eBay, the more you'll realize there really is very little that is a true "collector item" that you "will never see again." And this bag ain't one of them.

The only reason to pay "near" the price of retail... is if you can't get the bag. Meaning, if the bag is sold out and/or retired. This is a brand new color. You can probably call BalNY and get on a wait list, if they don't have one available. If you wind up on the wait list, it'll give you a little time to save up the extra $100.00 difference!

I understand that. My position is that there are so many great bags out there, I prefer to buy one that I love AND can get a good deal on. Paying $100 under retail for a second-hand bag (which is what I consider all bags from private parties, no matter if it has been actually "used" or not) is not a good deal. That's all. Nothing is so rare that we only have one shot at buying it. Too bad I didn't know this when I was younger, it would have saved me lots of money, lol.

I'm willing to spend more than $1000 on the bag.Where I live Balenciaga bags retail for about $1300+!And $1300+ is only the price for this size too(small that is).There aren't that many choices either.Plus the Bbag here does not seem to be as popular as in US..at least from my point of view because there's no waiting list whatsoever!
Anyways VivaLaJuicy,I will see if I'll bid or not..I just bought a Chanel Hollywood bag so I feel bad to spend any more than I have!
