For Christmas, my boyfriend said he'll buy me a bag of my choice, but will only spend up to $400.00 on it. Are there any nice Balenciaga's you can get for that price that aren't TOO used?

I would say mostly accessories but you could find a Shoulder second hand for around that price. The Shoulder is about the size of a LV Pouchette and retails for I think $695 but you could find it cheaper.
Yeah, if you find a City or Work for $400 then it's probably going to be in bad shape. But some people like getting deals and can clean up bags pretty good.
If you do find something on Ebay... make sure you post it in here so we can all make sure it's authentic... Good Luck!!! I know there are a lot of good deals out there...
What VivaLaJuicy said! I personally stear clear of eBay all together. I just don't trust it at all. There are just to many stories of people being ripped off online with knockoffs. If I can't walk into the store and hold it in my hands and see that it's genuine, I don't buy it. But, I do wish you luck. Like some ladies were saying before, you could buy accessories. But you won't be able to buy a gently used Balenciaga for just $400. I wish it were so.

I'm sure a talented leather restorer could help fix it up. Otherwise, I'm not really sure what to tell you. There's no way that you could get an authentic one for that low of a price without there being some serious wear.
