And also, the paper tag shouldn't be attached to the outside of the bag (plus all the strings I have ever seen have been black)... plus there's a loose tag like LV bags that is simply included with the bag. Also, plastic on the handles can be a huge indicator of a fake. It's a myth that designer bags will never come with plastic on the handles, but it is very unusual to see them like this. The plastic wrapping if from them being shipped and its always removed before being taken to the sales floor of a store.

I mean I can't tell the difference between the real thing and the fake thing on a Balenciaga. It's crazy because I could spot a fake Chanel or LV from a mile away. I guess because it's not a bag I've had before or done much research on. So the bag I posted a picture of is not authentic, right? If I someone tried to sell it to me I would think it was authentic. I checked out the guide but the fake and real ones looked so similar I was still confused

I also found this website and have been tempted. I looked into them based in CA and they have a return policy and authenticity is guaranteed?? They state that their items are overstock and that is how they can sell them at discounted prices.

Did you end up using them? How did it turn out? I wanted to try but an very leary since I (as I am sure we all have been) burned in the past!!

I would vote fake on that one lilstrlett. The stitching looks off - it's not as obvious on a real bag. Additionally, the bales (curvey metal parts at the ends of the shoulder strap) look more square than rounded the way they should be.

Also, for that color - which looks like 05 sky blue, the hardware would be brass not silver. Silver hardware was only used for a short time in 03 and 04.

I agree...it's a fake! The bales look square.
