Default How Do I Assess the Value of my City?

I really love my '08 Amethyst City, but I'm thinking about selling it. I've outgrown the size of this bag and really need a Work, but I have no idea how much this bag is worth on the market. I'll my best not to make this sound like an ad! I'd love to list it in the MP, just need to know a potential value.

To some people this is an HG bag, which makes me wonder if it's worth more than I think it is.

I can't find one for sale anywhere to see what it's going for, just for a comparable. I guess I just want to know what something like this is valued at. Not necessarily what my particular bag is worth, but what this bag might go for is someone was selling it on eBay or at an online consignment store.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

Have you tried searching "completed listings" with in the last month on ebay? I normally look there before I list anything to see what similar items are selling for.
You could always list it on the bay with a reserve.

I don't know much about the value of Balenciagas, but maybe you could use the same price you paid for it.

I don't think it is worth very much...but being the generous person that I am, I would gladly give you $10! But hurry, this offer won't last long!!!

I was thinking about that, but then I was thinking "well what if that's selfish" - or "what if I underpaid for it"

Haha it's hard to know how to price something!

Let-Trade sold one awhile back, but I can't remember what price they had on it. Maybe you could e-mail their customer service and ask them?

That's where I bought this from. Cass' suggestion about selling it for what I paid for it sounds like a good idea, and seeing as how I only got it a few months ago, it hasn't really depreciated in value. The only thing is that I got it new and now it's been used. My intention in selling it isn't really to make a profit, I just want to make sure I'm selling it at the right price, or what it's worth.

Oh it was you that bought it? ROFL! Well, I guess it wouldn't help much to ask them how much they sold it for then, huh?

It's a beautiful color, and since you bought it new, I say about $50-$100 less than the retail price of a new City... I don't really know. How much would a consignment shop give you for the Bal? I assume not as much as you'd like...

Didn't you get it for around $1,000 from Let-Trade? I would ask somewhere around that price.
