Question Have you ever bought an item that wasn't from your country?

I found a bag (yes, another *sigh*) on eBay, but the seller is from the UK (I'm from the United States). I haven't used eBay THAT much nor have I bought from an overseas seller.

If you have, how was your experience? I'd love to know!

It depends on the seller. I've had great experiences and horrible ones. It all depends. If you buy a bag though and it is fake, you'll have a hard time getting your money back if you bought it overseas. I know this from experience.

The brand she's selling isn't faked that anyone knows of (Marc by Marc Jacobs). They've got 1324 100% feedback. Seems like a good seller.

I have bought a bag from a seller in Thailand. Now, THAT's risky! But she had over 60 100% feedback and was a member of that other bag forum and no probs. Bag was authentic, good condition and got the package in super quick time.

I have bought from Hong Kong and Indonesia. No problems. It just depends on the seller.

yea it depends on the seller, you have to read their feedback... I usually email them first before bidding so I know they communicate well... I hate sellers that doesn't respond, makes you think that if anything goes wrong they won't answer you. I actually bought my LV MC speedy (that's still coming) from fashionphile in the US

I've bought on ebay from other countries before, it has always worked out well. I always make sure to only buy from sellers with lots of feedback and a high percentage. 98% is too low for me. And I always make sure to read their neutral and negative feedbacks to make sure everything is on the up and up. Good luck!

Yes, I have!! I only buy in UK, and I´m from Germany, they´re faster than German members! And the sellers a very kind.
But these and those kinds of people!

That´s true, but a few ebay members are MPRS, that´s safely!
Check the feedback and look at goofbay.com if she sell more designer items!
And ask about shipment, and pay with PAYPAL!
    many greetings, Jacquie
(Sorry for my broken english! )

I would sell lots of my LV bags, for buying new bags from LV!
