Wanting to Buy a LV Artsy on Ebay but very nervous about it!

Hi ,
I am brand new to this! I want to buy an LV Artsy Gm on Ebay but I am afraid it will be fake. I bought one 6 weeks ago with receipt and it was fake so I'm not sure I want to do this again. I did get my money refunded but just not sure what to do. Can anyone look at this bag on Ebay and suggest to me what they think? its auction # 220936696017.

As you said that you receive a fake LV Artsy handbag on ebay then why do you purchase it again from the ebay. I suggest you purchase it from another online shopping site or from local stores.

well can you tell anything about the seller sometimes that is a dead giveaway, but don't sweat it happens to all of us once or twice you'll learn what to look for... :)

I am worried about ebay too. Always bought my bags from stores but love some vintage. Going to do some more searching!

The trick is to ask a lot of questions. Sellers of genuine bags are willing to answer all kinds of questions. Yes, it could happen that the seller may not know the bag is fake but I am sure for a professional seller they will tell you that there is a potential risk (if they are unsure about the origin of the bag). I typically evaluate an ebay seller based on their history of selling similar items (so you don't buy a Rolex from someone who is mostly selling $20 iphone skins) and also based on their willingness to answer your questions.

I was looking on ebay too for an artsy damier azur and found one. However the one i found had a made of imported materials tag in it. Since when does lv have this inside or it is a fake???

Hi Leslie! Did you buy the bag? I know your post has been awhile but just wanted to add my two cents. I have been a buyer/seller on eBay for 12 years. In all that time, I have purchased many bags & recived a fake one time. The seller refused to believe it was fake so I filed a disbute against her. eBay/Paypal returned my money to me within 3 days. She had to also pay my shipping fees for it to be returned to her. I love eBay!!
