Default Selling Christian Louboutin's on eBay...as is or upgraded?

Ladies I'm thinking of selling a pair of Christian Louboutin Simple Pump 100s on eBay but I was wondering, do you think it would help the resell value if I were take the shoes in to have the red Vibram sole places on the worn sole or should I just sell as is and allow the winner of the auction to do it themselves?

Do you think putting the Vibram sole hurts, as the should might be mistaken for a counterfeit?

    Any thoughts are appreciated...

*note, I'm not actually selling them in this thread, rather asking for opinions regarding a selling strategy on eBay.

I think it would be better to sell them as is. You could say in the auction though how the buyer could have it fixed, in case they wouldn't know.

Honestly, adding the Vibram sole or not, it won't effect that value. It doesn't hurt the shoe, and people won't think they're counterfeit if you have them on. I would have the buyer decide if they want them on or not, because you'll have to incur the expense of buying the Vibrams and then have to go to a cobbler and put them on.

I would leave them as is and let the buyer decide what to do with them.

Thanks everyone for your input. I did end up taking them in to a cobbler for the sole, and to stretch them out. I'm going to try them again to see if I will keep them. The biggest problem is they've been rubbing on the side of my foot and causing a blister :-(

Which ones are they? I bought my New Simples and they were too small, but after wearing them a bit they stretched out and now fit perfectly. They're Kid leather so pretty soft.

What about those pads that you can buy to stick inside your shoes? They have some that are for the heel, so the shoe grips your heel better and it doesn't rub.

No these are nude patent...and its the toe box that is too small and cutting into my toes in the corners. Hard to explain...I'll try to post a photo or something. I'm going to take someone's advice and wear them around the house with really thick socks to see if that's stretches them out. I tried them on again after coming back from the cobbler and they are still cutting into my skin. Really sucks too...i love the style/color of these shoes, but not the pain.

These are the shoes. I don't know if you can really tell here, but they are really pinching right above my big toe and on the side near my pinky toe. Again...i may try the socks idea...unless anyone else has a suggestion.

They don't look terribly comfortable. even in the pic your feet looks squished.

TBH they don't look like they're too small. If they were bigger your foot would slip out of the back. It's just the way the toe box is, because of the way they are rounded. My Decolletes are similar, but more pointy. They will stretch a little but you just need to be patient. Since you just bought them I would give them some time with the socks and wearing them around the house before you get rid of them.

The Dafs look like stripper shoes, lol. I kept seeing them at Saks and was like "I just don't get it, lol." Plus they're SO expensive! Especially for something that is more of a trend than a classic.

Ouch...didn't know they were stripper-ish. Just want to be taller!
