The restriction pops up if you use the name in your title and you have exceeded your limit.

I hope you all try Bonanzle. Fun and friendly. No limits that I know of. Probably like how ebay was before they got too big and corporate.

Ebay seems to be going down the drain. I don't know. I don't do too much with ebay myself, but they seem to be adding more and more fees and restrictions

Bonanzle and ecrater seem to be the way to see a purse these days. I'm glad I don't have the ebay fees when I sell something from those sites, but I cringe when I see paypal charge me for receiving money! I hope they don''t get higher as more people leave ebay.

    True story.

I am posting on eBay in November. We have a handful of high end clients that have had their fair share of designer items and are looking to lighten the load.

One particular client just has CHANEL EVERYTHING. So, first few auctions go smoothly and swiftly. No problems. All of the sudden, one morning I go to post a pair of shoes and I receive the message Jennifer is talking about.

So, I get on the phone and I get the generic assistance of the actual person that sent the email to me from eBay had to be the person I got back to so the ban could be lifted. There was nothing that could be done on the current call and I would have to wait.

I used to work customer service so I know the drill. So, I interjected a little logic into the conversation. I said look, I list for TWO powerseller accounts, our feedback is 99% PLUS, we have not had one customer contact us or say they contacted you about fake high end items being shipped out from our store, AND when we sell something YOU get paid especially since you raised the fees.

All of the sudden, the mood changed, someone spoke with me right then, told me to send a spreadsheet of all the high end items we had sold in the past 60 days and the ban was lifted. It started out ugly but ended up ok. The reason I won't say good is because the month we were out was right around Christmas so I KNOW we lost money.

I am just waiting for one of these auction startups to do what facebook did to myspace and just rival them all the way out. Pure greed.

Freedom is not knowing your limits but realizing that you have none.

I've mainly been using Bonanzle now to get rid of my closet extras. It's really been picking up lately! I love it when I sell on there vs. ebay. The fees ebay has are sky-high, while Bonanzle is reasonable. There are alot of authentic designer goods on the site, as well as your share of fakes (so still authenticate).

I tried to list stuff this weekend and got restricted AGAIN...and this time I was only able to list one item; last month I was able to list three

hopefully my stuff will eventually move on Bonanzle, I hate having bags around for so long after I decide to sell them; I just want to sell them, mail them, and move on, know what I mean?
    Now on a BAN!

Hi Jennifer, E-bay does that sometimes and you can write them directly to solve the problem at rswebhelp@ebay.com It is usually a dollar amount that they have attached to your account. So if you have items that all total 10,000 in sales listed, then maybe your limit is 10,000 and if you try to post one more item for 100 or whatever, it will not allow it, and freezes you from even revising your other accounts. Hope that helps
