.. and why would I go to ebay if there's a hold on my account. It doesn't make sense..
Jennifer, it doesn't look like there is a 'hold' on your account. It just looks like you have limits on what you can sell until you can get your feedback level up. Maybe consider just selling a few 'non risk' items like CD's or used clothes. I was able to sell 9-10 of my older bags which included Coach and Dooney with no problems. My feedback is 131, but I made many of those feedbacks selling little stuff to get my numbers up.

Evilbay does suck... I am on Bonanzle but like another poster said I think the audience for that type of items is very low but I am new there so I do not know it is just me!!

Good for you Jennifer. I had my Theda for sale and got cancel. It is authentic. I called to find out why and she could not tell me because it was confidential BS... I tell you I have just searched and saw many fakes listed and before I used to report them no I do not care... I know it is mean but I am furious!!

UGH - I'm sorry you're going through this. I know a LOT of people are having these problems.

I know that feedback has nothing to do with it, as even powersellers are being restricted. Right now it seems like the only thing that works is using another site to create and edit your listings, like Auctiva.

Then once it's posted, DON"T EDIT IT!!! Make sure it's clean before posting. Don't even list the categories for designer, color, etc. It's stupid. the only thing that seems to be consistent is the listing directly via ebay and revisions gets the restriction.

And yes, they put the 30 day hold and when you question them, it suddenly becomes 90 days.

^ No problem!! Hopefully e*bay will get this sorted out soon. It's really silly to restrict legitimate sellers while people that have fakes can have multiple listings and accounts.

I do know a friend had a 90 day restriction, and she created a second account using a different email address. She was able to sell a few smaller items to build up feedback, then starting listing her bags again using Auctiva and another site (can't remember name) and mentioned in her listing her prior experience selling and to ask for more details and alternate feedback account. So far, it's worked for her.

Hopefully I did not get the 90days suspension due to my rant to the rep but I was so mad. I need to look into activa and see how it works. But you there have to be some new venues to sell. Evilbay is becoming unbearable

That is weird. There are a ton of sellers with a ton of auctions. Has ebay gotten back to you since your original post?

It's a 90 day hold for account review, but you can still list in 30 days. I've noticed that I can list 9 designer items per month...that's my cutoff. I rarely need to sell that much though.
I list my stuff on Bonanzle too!

Are these restrictions more likely to apply for designer handbags than clothing or not really?
    Hopelessly handbag addicted !
