Sad My authentic listing on eBay was removed.

I am so upset. My authentic listing on eBay is removed. I sent them an email to demand further explanation but per the response, it will take about 24 to 48 hours before eBay can get back to me...... has this happen to you before? What did you do?

That's never happened to me before. Hmm, I think if a bag is flagged like X many times, then they remove the listing.

Let us know how things go ..

I don't know what is going on and I have sent email to eBay but has to wait 24 to 48 hours for eBay to get back to me. I will let you know.

BTW, I was just looking at Purseforum; apparently it happens quite often and to a lot of people.

Do you have only a few feedback? I've got 125 positive feedback reviews, and have had no problems selling merchandise on there. I'm wondering if it is related to that?

Your bags could have been pulled for a number of reasons.
If you have a small amount of feedback and you list several high end bags, Ebay gets flagged and they will cancel your auctions.
If someone emails you and asks for more pictures and you don't respond, they will cancel it.
If you use other people's pictures, they will cancel it.
If you are selling fake bags that you may think are authentic, they will cancel it.
And if you have a person or persons who are spiteful little trolls that have nothing better to do with their lives than falsely turn your auctions in, they will cancel them.
Fortunately for the latter one, Ebay will take into account your feedback and how long you have been with them, and will, if contacted enough about it, suspend said troll's account when they have enough ammo against them.
I'll look up the number you can call and post it here when I find it. I think I posted it a week or so ago. It is a new number that actually goes directly to someone who can help you, instead of an Ebay drone.

Sad Re: My authentic listing on eBay was removed.

Thank you and here is a bit more on my side of the story:

    1) I am pretty sure it is authentic as I bought it at a store long time ago.
    2) My eBay account has been active since 2000.
    3) I have 66 feedbacks (100%) positive but I had 2 negative feedbacks from previously (more than 8 years ago) one from someone who try to return a fake bag and one from a non-payer.

However, I have not been active in selling on eBay for the past 5 years and have been a buyer only. I guess eBay has changed a lot since and my inactivity as a seller hurt my seller status.

BTW, you are right about eBay not being helpful, this is the useless eBay response I received "With regard to your item, I understand your concern about the listing that we removed. Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly why it was removed for security reasons."

I was going to start selling on eBay on my high-end things such as purses, jackets, etc....but not sure about it now.... as I don't want to spend tons of time listing and resulted in this.

This just happened to me. You have no idea how mad I am - I bought something on eBay, they didn't fit, so I'm trying to re-sell them. These are the two crap-a** messages I got from them:

    Dear Alexandra,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to the removal of your auction.

Your listing was removed because it contained indicators that are
    commonly associated with fraudulent listings:

300293104822 - CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN "NEW SIMPLE" PUMPS 7/8

Due to security concerns, I'm unable to share with you the specific
criteria that we used to make this decision. We keep this information
    confidential, to prevent potential misuse.

Please understand that it's against eBay policy and illegal to sell
counterfeit or unauthorized items. This policy protects intellectual
property and protects buyers from purchasing counterfeit or fraudulent
    items.

eBay can remove a listing if we believe that the sale of the item might
create liability for the buyer, the seller, or a third party.

For more information on the eBay Replica, Counterfeit Items, and
    Unauthorized Copies policy, please visit:

Replica, Counterfeit Items and Unauthorized Copies

Click the "Show" links for more information about the policy, examples
of items not permitted on eBay, and the reason why eBay has this policy.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation, and we wish you luck with
    your future eBay transactions.

    Sincerely,
    Keefe
    eBay Customer Support
After I responded to them I got this 2nd message:
    Dear Alexandra,
Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your cancelled auction.

I have thoroughly reviewed the information you have provided as well as
the information in your account. I have come to the conclusion that the
appropriate action was taken in this case in accordance to our listing
policy. Please allow me to further explain why this action was taken.

Alexandra, your listing was removed because it violated eBay policy.
Counterfeits, unauthorized replicas, and other unauthorized items aren't
    allowed on eBay.

If a product includes the name or logo of a company, but it wasn't made
or endorsed by that company, it's also not allowed.

For more information on counterfeits, please visit:
eBay - Page Not Found are
responsible for the items that they sell, and they can be held legally
liable for selling an infringing item.

Every item that sellers list must follow all eBay policies. An item that
appears to infringe a protected trademark or brand name or to violate an
    eBay policy can be removed.

Alexandra, you are responsible for doing what you can to ensure that
your items are authentic before you list them on eBay. If an item is
authentic or you are the copyright owner of the work you are selling, we
strongly encourage you to say so in your listing. If your item has a
serial number, authenticity card, or other indicator of legitimacy, we
recommend that you include this information in your listing, too.

    -- Important --
If you can't verify the authenticity of an item, you can't sell it on
eBay. Keep in mind that repeated listings of potentially infringing
items could lead to the suspension of your eBay account.

Alexandra, because millions of listings are available on eBay, we are
unable to review every listing posted. eBay often relies on reports from
members to help us maintain the safety and security of our Community. If
we find that an item or listing violates our policy, we take appropriate
action. Our actions may include listing cancellation, limits on account
privileges, account suspension, forfeit of eBay fees on canceled
listings, and loss of PowerSeller status.

Although there may be similar items currently listed on eBay, we review
all listings that are reported to us. Unfortunately, some current
listings may violate eBay policies without our knowledge. This doesn't
reduce the seriousness of the violations for the listings that have been
    reported to us.

If you'd like to report an item that violates eBay policy, please click
the "Report this item" link at the bottom of the listing.

To review a list of items that are prohibited or restricted on eBay,

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply to this
    email and let us know.

I think I would list on Bonanzle, but I've never used it. Do you think people would want to buy my stuff there even though I've never used it?

Yeah - I've completely given up on evilbay.

You may have gotten pulled because you used the word "new." I tried to sell some Department 56 figures as "NEW IN BOX" and got the exact SAME first letter as you. They've started pulling things with the reasoning if you're reselleing it can't be new. I went to unopened never used and was able to sell, but the whole thing was complete BS.

And then there's the regular stuff - no stock photos, watermark your photos, and I always stated that this item was in my possestion and I only had one. Still evilbay has been a complete (pick your lovely discriptive adjective) here.
