Default Alexander McQueen De Manta Printed Clutch

The Alexander McQueen De Manta Clutch is back! This is probably one of my favorite McQueen styles. When I first laid eyes on this clutch, I was a little puzzled by the pattern that is printed on its satin exterior. The black and off-white remind me of an Art Deco look. But what are all those lines crisscrossing every which way? Well if you examine some other pieces from this latest collection, it will all start to make sense. There is a common theme - Dragonflies. And what are those lines? It looks to me like the pattern was inspired by dragonfly wings. So cool! Dragonflies trump butterflies in my book! They eat mosquitoes!

    Retails for $525

Haha! Where did you find that? Maybe that's why Net-A-Porter put a generic name on it.

Oh you know what, I think the flesh part is actually the color. I've seen other McQueen pieces labeled as flesh.

IDK? Just seems rather "Silence Of The Lambs" to me. Don't get me wrong, that is one of my all time favorite movies, I just think it would look better as a colorful dragonfly. More like the McQ watercolors...

Really? I'm not getting that "it rubs the lotion on its skin" sort of vibe from this. LOL! I think it would be prettier if it was the same pattern with an iridescent background of some sort.

Haha... totally! I'm not sure how I feel about this clutch as well, though I do love the movie.
