I was browsing around on the Saks Fifth Avenue website today when I spotted this curious-looking handbag. Meet the Alexander McQueen Melrose Tote. The lovely Kelly Green color is what initially drew me in. But upon closer inspection, I discovered something rather amusing about this bag. What is that you ask? Just take a look at its lining and tell me that this bag doesn't remind you of a watermelon. Oddly enough, this bag brings back memories of the lockers at my middle school. They were pink on the inside and green on the outside. Don't ask me why. I just remember giggling when one of my friends painstakingly drew little black seeds all over the interior of her locker with a Magic Marker. And from the looks of this bag, I'll bet she would be tempted to draw little seeds inside it as well. All joking aside though, I do think that this is a very attractive bag. However, perhaps it would be wiser to purchase it in Black. At least that way nobody will be chasing you around with a Magic Marker!

Just in case you guys don't believe me, the locker story is 100% true. I did not make it up. Why the lockers were pink and green I will never know! LOL!

*Shudder* Who would ever wear those shoes? It does look kind of like a watermelon, but maybe that's what he was going for. After all he is fashion's " L'enfant terrible" and "the hooligan of English fashion".
