Purple handbags are everywhere! Darker shades such as eggplant and plum are supposed to be hot for Fall 2008. They are available in every shape, size, and style imaginable and they have been flooding the department stores. So here we are with, yet, another purple handbag that is new for this coming season. Meet the MICHAEL Michael Kors Lattington Medium Satchel. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the color purple -- you're talking to someone that had purple carpet in her bedroom when she was a kid! But his bag just doesn't seem to do it for me. The overall style is alright and the studs are adorable. If fact, the little studs bring back very fond memories of the MK Astor bags. So what is it that bothers me about this bag then? It's that contrast stitching. I'm not sure why, but for some reason they make the bag look cheap. And who wants a $400 handbag that looks like it only cost $40?
