I don't think so, but then again I am use to big bags. The mouth of the bag is pretty open and it's wide so you can easily see down in there and reach around (does that make sense?) If I were to stick my arm down in there and touch the bottom, the top of the bag reaches up to about 2 inches below my shoulder.
Also there are a couple pockets on the inside to help with easy grabbage
