Dear contractors who are working on our backyard,

4 weeks ago when this project was started, you said it wouldn't take longer than 10 days. You were given 50% of the funds up front and on good faith. I realize that your sub ran off and it was delayed by several days because of this, but 4 weeks??? Come on!
We have 50 people coming to our house on Friday and the deck hasn't even been started. You say it will take one day to build it. Are you serious? It's huge. I am so distraught right now I can hardly see straight. I don't know what I am going to do if we have no deck for our party. Well, I do, but I can't write it in polite company. Not once have I heard any talk about a discount or adding any extras. At this point, in yor shoes, I would be offering the moon. But then I guess I've been way too accomodating and nice up until this point and you feel you can walk all over me.
