hi juicyholicmom! let-trade bags don't smell like mothballs all the time. i've personally owned some of their stuff. but if you happen to get a bag that does smell like moth balls, a couple of hours "airing" them out should help. i also store my bags in a closet with scented liners (i get mine from crabtree and evelyn). that helps, too. anyway, the musette is cute but much too small IMO. if you find a large one, then i think that's a better buy. the price is not bad, though. the alma is a wonderful bag but not very practical with a baby. i love my damier alma but it has taken a back seat to my shoulder bags since i need both hands with two kids in tow. good luck!
