It really depends on what a person likes, and not necessarily the brand. From my personal taste, I could ask: WHY own a Guess bag? But that's just me. I'm not really a fan of their bags. But if I see a bag that I love and it's not designer, then I will get it. I mean, yes, it's wonderful to own designer peices, especially classics like Louis Vuitton because I will have them forever. But, for example, if I see a $20 bag at Marshalls and I really like it, then the brand doesn't matter to me.
