Yeah, I don't really mind about the credit since there will be another decadestwo and thomas wylde sale coming up soon (hehe). But I'm a little annoyed about the situation in general.
On the 8th I ordered a bag from the Pa-Tou-Tou sale.
----shipping policy when i ordered the bag was 5-7 days---
7 business days after the sale I emailed in and received this message.
"Thank you for your concern, as stated in our policy it takes 5-7 business days to ship out from our warehouse and an additional 3-5 days to get to you. Please allow at least 15 business days for you to receive your order. Feel free to contact me with any future concerns."
9 business days after the order. Here is what went on:
I called HauteLook. The lady was, what I would say (imho) extremely rude. She says "Hello", not 'this is hautelook how can I help you?' or anything like that. Then I think I said something like "hi, uh I placed an order a short time ago, and....." I was cut off! She says something like, "yeah and you want to know when you will receive your order". Then she puts me on hold, but really I think she hung up on me because someone else picked up the line. Very rude! Then I was put on hold again. Couple minutes later someone picked up and told me my item was "short-shipped" This other lady was so much nicer and explained how it was the brand who miscalculated what was available. My account would be credited. But to be sure, she was going to contact the supplier and get back to me soon.
4 hours later the person I spoke with on the 7th day emailed me back and says
"I apologize for the delay but unfortunately there is nothing that I can do to make your package arrive sooner, we have to wait for the brand to send us the merchandise which we give them 10 days to ship us the merchandise. Once we receive the merchandise we can ship it to you. Please feel free to contact me with any future concerns."
Sorry but what the fuck? 10 days now? Not, we extended our shipping??
15 min later I emailed someone I know who works @ HL. (not a support person)
She responds "...At this time we are contacting customers to see if they would be interested in us placing a special order. Basically they are producing bags just for us"
2 min later
I get a call back from the person I spoke with on the phone. She tells me the item is not available and they can credit my account. I was like "sure yeah that's totally okay". Because seriously that Pa-tou-tou bag was a fast purchase. Even though I stocked the pages for a couple hours until someone dropped it out of their shopping cart. Hehe.
Anyway, I cant wait until the decadestwo and thomas wylde sales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINAL NOTE: I LOVE HAUTELOOK! seriously it's an awesome site for great deals. my only frustration comes with their shipping, which is not their fault.
