I work at a career school and we always advise our students to err on the side of looking too professional and formal rather than too casual - do a suit or pants/skirt (below the knees) and blazer in a neutral (black, navy, gray or now that it's a bit wamer you could do taupe), button down shirt, and sensible pumps or flats.
