My last dog was a rat terrier and she was so nervous I almost had to have her put on doggie Xanax... She now lives with my mom who has the time to nurture her... The vet said she didnt get enough attention and I was like... She's a DOG!!! Not a child

Actually, I never really liked it when the groomers made her have poofs everywhere.
I was always like, just shave it all off! LOL!
We used to take her to Petco to have her groomed, but then we found out that they weren't treating her very nicely there. The groomers complained because she was snapping at them... well, if you guys weren't hurting her then she won't be snapping. Duh! ::sigh:: So we took her to this private boarding kennel that also did grooming. They were very nice there and they actually took her out to let her go to the bathroom (something they never did at Petco). Unfortunately it was $60 plus a tip at this place. So my husband decided to buy one of the fancy dog clipper sets and it paid for itself within the first couple of times we cut her hair ourselves. And I might add... I think I do a pretty good job. No poofs or puffs, just a nice shave with a little bit of fur left around her face.
