Re: Now I'm the one having the bad day...
Progressive probably won't...but look in to State Farm. IF they can cover you, you can get renters, auto, and health insurance policies cheap with discounts...
$80 isn't that bad...I pay over $300 per month for health insurance for 3 people, and it's my employers plan...everywhere i have worked it's been that bad. It's expensive. I don't know how much Dillard's was...I wasn't eligible either. I worked two 20 hour per week jobs while in school. One of them wsa because the employer didn't want me on the healthcare plan, but the pay was a whole lot better and they let me do my homework at work...but I was 19 and felt invincible...
I would look at whatever city you are in and see if they have a "free" or subsidized health center ... this would help with minor illnesses...
I HATE HATE HATE how healthcare dictates our life in such a big way now...I have the drive and ability to own my own business ... but I'd never make it because of healthcare costs...I am just hoping one day I can get a PhD and teach...that would give me the freedom I crave. At least 2 months a year...haha...
Good luck in all you do...just don't give up on school...your future is what matters
What are you going to school for that you have all that homework?
