Gee... everything was going so well this morning. We just watched a video in lab and then we left an hour and a half early. I was thinking how great it was and how much homework I was going to get done (I have a ton of stuff due tomorrow). Wow...
So I started working on some stuff and then I decided to take a break and eat some lunch. Then my husband called me from his cell phone. No big deal, he always calls me around that time. Well it turns out that he was calling because he had cut his finger really bad and he wanted me to meet him at the emergency room. We went in at about 12:30 this afternoon and we didn't leave until after 4:00.
I was mostly worried about his fingernail since the saw he was using had cut his finger going underneath his nail and down the side of his finger. He also had a fracture in the bone... so that's why it too so long. We had to go up to the Orthopaedic Surgeon's office to have them take a look at it.
Anyways, I ended up missing my entire chemistry lab that I'll have to make up somehow. Now I still have tons of homework to do that is due tomorrow. I was so glad I had gotten out of my other lab so early this morning because I thought I was going to have plenty of time to get some work done. Now it looks like I might be working on stuff all night.
What worries me the most though is the bill that will be coming from the hospital. My husband lost his insurance when I went back to school because he got health insurance through me. I no longer have health insurance at work because I am no longer full time. I just have the insurance provided at my school... but it only covers me. Oh gosh... there is no way we are going to be able to pay for this. Hope I don't have to start selling my stuff again.
On another note, I guess my parents were having a bad day too. Today was my mom's birthday and my dad sort of ruined it by falling out of his truck and fracturing his wrist. They spent the day at the doctor's office as well.
