but someone who is not in a position to, who chooses to splurge irresponsibility for vanity over other responsibilities, no.
i am not a fan of the carrie bradshaw way of life because the reality is such.... people are finding it tougher to survive in their winter years. in the movies it always looks peachy whereas in reality, your caviar jumbo is not going to feed you, clothe you, pay for the med bills, education, etc....
so yes, everything in moderation is good. a 23 year old carrying a chanel.. is an excess for me.

Unless they are a Paris Hilton or Britney Spears. But that is an oddity.
And again, that isn't to say that there aren't wealthy 23 year olds who have the money to burn. But other things need to be taken into account first and dealt with.
