I have no idea at all how to determine authenticity on Bottega Veneta. Hmmm, if I was looking to buy a Bottega Veneta on eBay I would probably base my decision on their feedback rating.... if they have sold 2,000 designer handbag items with 98% feedback or higher, then yeah definitely.

Also I would email the seller. Asking them where they got it. Year, location, date, why selling it. If they ont respond or say they dont remember then I would stay away.
