I'm not saying that what they are doing is fair... I just said I can understand their thinking from a business point of view. Heck... did you know that the store I work for can fire an employee for purchasing something from the store and then selling it on ebay? They've included this policy because its bad business from their point of view, even though its really none of their damn business if I chose to sell something on ebay and it just so happened to have been purchased from the store I work at.
I also think that Coach has pretty much brought this on themselves. They have made their items available to customers at low prices. They have outlets, they sell to TJ Maxx/Marshalls, and they allow markdowns of their items at department stores. I can easily find good deals on Coach if I know where to go... I've gotten bags for well over 75% off the retail price. So you see, this makes it very tempting for people to purchase these bags at incredible deals and then turn around and resell them for a profit to people who may not have as easy of access to such good deals. So really, its their own fault and they shouldn't be blaming the people buying stuff at their outlets.
Anyways... my poor little pochette did end up getting sold. Unfortunately, I had to take a loss on it. I sold it for less than what I had paid simply because I was so friggin desperate at the time.

Stupid health insurance taking money that didn't belong to them...
