Yes, some fakers do put fake (and sometimes even correct) date codes inside the bags. Most of the time they don't... but they are getting more and more accurate all the time. Obviously if it is a style that does not exist, then the date code would not be a correct one. If you're looking at a bag that is a real style, then the location of the date code would be consistent with every other bag that style as well. Also, limited edition collections are usually only made during one season, so the year part of the code would be the same for all the styles within that collection (the months can be different though). I think there was link to Fashionphile's date code guide posted in one of the threads. It give a lot more info on date codes in general.
Oh, and I was talking about the buckle in the picture of the entire side of the bag. It is buckled there, right? It looks crooked.
