Here's a story for you ladies... I am a HUGE Tori Amos fan. I've seen her like 17 times in concert - travelled much for it too! She's on tour again so I got 2nd row tickets to see her with my mom in Albany, NY (I live in VT so it's like a 3 hour drive). I then decided to go crazy and bought 3 tickets in 6th row to see her in Ft. Myers, Florida... my cousin (who's turning 16) lives there and I wanted to bring her with me and drive down with a friend. Well the drive takes 24 hours 1 way. I got a new job and CANNOT take off work. I looked into flying down there and renting a car for the WEEKEND and it looked to be about $400 just to do that. So I gave up - I was upset because I didn't think I could sell my tickets!! By some crazy luck - I posted them up on a message board and this guy emailed me asking for all three - paid me $20 more than I originally paid and I got the money wired overnight!! He promised not to scalp them and seemed like a really nice dude - BIG tori fan.
So... in conclusion to last night's events... I have decided to splurge again on ShopBop. I swear... I think I'm DONE for Fall/Winter. Seriously... I have a TON of things now. The only thing I want is a nice chunky scarf which since I'm learning how to knit - I should be able to make it myself.
