I think it's because a lot of the SA's who work at these boutiques don't have a lot of knowledge of the product that they're selling. So they don't want to be held responsible for authenticating a bag in case it's fake. We are passionate about handbags and we research the ins and outs of a handbag and we expect these SA's to feel and do the same. But to them it's just a job. I have had to correct SA's about the styles and colours of LVs or Balenciagas that they're selling as they had no clue.
